The problem

Wearing a hijab in the tropics can be hard work

Heavy or tightly woven fabrics can feel stuffy by mid-morning. Many hijabs are designed for cooler climates, not for walking between MRT stations at noon. We wanted something lighter, softer and easier, without giving up on looking good.

  • The fabric

Why liquid jersey?

Liquid jersey is a lightweight knit with a smooth surface and a fluid, flowing drape. We chose it because it suits the way women in Singapore actually live.

  • Lightweight. Less bulk around the head and neck.
  • Soft with a gentle stretch. Comfortable against the skin and easy to wrap.
  • Beautiful drape. Falls neatly and holds its shape through the day.
  • Easy care. Gentle wash, hang dry, minimal ironing.

We only describe what our fabric genuinely does. We don’t claim “cooling technology” or certifications we don’t hold.
